Transcription
seeds oval, brown 1.3 x 1 mm, flat, sharply transversely
ridged in an elastic thick white coat which
contracts (rolling inside out) expelling seeds briskly.

articulation (See RVH 99 'O. stricta a closely allied
Amer. species with a more erect st. and no
perceptible stipules -- also an occasional
garden weed'. Short hairs on ft. appressed
downward (towards st.) 1/4 to 1/2 x 1/2-10 mm, flat.
rostrate, ciliate, monoecy? leaf out. cap with
nerves below. St. as col. to 10 in long. Slightly
reddish brown but sometimes very slightly
glaucous on edges. Po. in region where
?? Paspalum dicticum is found this may be
O. stricta L. also intro. As remembered
K&H v3 differ'd in descriptions of O. species.
