stem bears lvs closely alternate but not in rosette
at top. Lvs linear 2½ - 3½ in x 2-3mm., entire, or
nerved, silky gray cinerent, not fleshy. If nar-
noved somewhat towards base v then widened a
little indue it is rolled around stem. Fl. atin
