Bae 443, Box 302 (See BM CPC. Indere. f genus) & fls. Garden Infanta E. Cladodes not spine tipped as in P. aculeatus, but only 1 nerve clearly plainly in bract outstret- ing f cluster. A dark purple tube surrounds pistil (perhaps rep. stamen tube in f fls) Cladodes to 3½ x 1½ in form v at f but ft tenderling (i.e. curl downward from about middle, pedicels not twisted.
