Many trees badly infected with some sort of disease
—perhaps scale. Live tree with entire volume shorts
in place which had lolly-like tw. All live collected
densely to centre beneath more or less starry
very lightly starry tomentum above. See in IV
XXXVII for diff shapes of frd. (See 3-14-30.
2-25-30 Picridium vulgare Deaf. Kn II 535, Bas
387, Bon 188. Rhencircling Bellver. (Note P.—Deaf
in inc. P. intermediun Schultz & Bas & acc. to Bon
has the outer involuc. scales heart shaped vs acumin
or margined etc as seen in P. intermedium.)
Also all fl have stigmata, achene in centre of
disks seem not to develop.
