2-25-30 Hypseria radiata L. Knth 508, Bas 278 Bon 183 Fl & young fr. R'd encircling Bellev. Fls about 30. Ext. adenis as desc. Bas. int. m's winged but in center some (perhaps too young) not winged but with crown like the winged ones. Lvs basal, deeply pinnatifid in closely set downward pointing lobes, largest at tops of lfts. (See 3-4-30 # central) (See 3-14-30) 2-25-30 Crepis taraxacifolia Th Knth 517 (See Bas BVH. 275 ill = Barklebania — DC. Bon 188 & Crepis vesicaria L Bas 205) Fl. R'd encircling Bellev. Seems only parasident since: receptacle is naked, pappus of hairs, not enlarged at base or plumy, schene not as in Cordiella or Taraxacum, not compressed &mt angled (as in Picrideum v Rettewrlija) L vs mostly basal runcinate pinnatifid 24 to 2 ft. ridged & shiped branching with lvs (clasping with rounded toothed ears) but extending branches only. Invrs. seems double, the outer of broad rate bracts with broad scarious margins, love v almost cup like at base & longer narrower bracts. Stigmas all olive green, outer rays purplish or black, inner ones all yellow. Belones with toothed longitudinal ridges tapering into long teals. (See 3-14-30
