2-14-30 (or perhaps 2-13-30, B) composite general effect of plant much as above, however smaller. But has several shortleafy (or bracted) peduncles. All its tubular valvate. Anthers fail to pop open. I believe in one series, finely barbed. Pedicels naked & rounder. Achenes without “caps” as in (A), just. pubescent. Scales with silvery yellow tip, looser than in (A) pubescents glandular (yellowish) below tip. Heads about 6mm high, 5mm across. Pos? Helichrysum Stechler, Stechas DC in one of its forms (see 3-4-30 ) the distinct outside & flo & the rest not noted because all are tubular & of same size. But a few scales 3-4-30 not at all pubescent & glandular below tips.
