Bor 179, BVH 266. Porto-Pi. Very early bud, only the long
two pointed
( to 1/2 in) stiff v very sharp spandy mid tracts slow-
ing. Three tracts greenish-strown color, channeled down
face to the 3/10 in base often with 1 or 2 small retaceous
spinelets at base (Bar. says 4-6). St. stout with
long woolly white hairs. livs. similarly pubt. 2 lapers
one sessile to 9 in long ti. pinulate, lobelinea &
dentate. Mid rib conspicuously white v margined
with decurrent like almost to base v bearing simple
aec. to very base but not decurrent on st. Heads
seem sessile, terminal among livs.
