Calyx 8mm at most. Corolla 9mm. St. brown-purple, rough-hairy, lvs rough-pubescent (not tomentose), apx to be purplish or veined beneath. [Desc in Hv Crate not available when this studied] 2-13-30 Diploaxis erucoides DC. Kn #18 Bor 31, Bor # 22. Flv fr. Backroad to Palma. Very common in fields. St. branching from base, roughish with short downward jointing hairs. Cotyledons folded longitudinally. Petals white tinged purplish or scent v filament purplish. Velves with 1 dorsal nerve - not "venosa". Seeds in 3 rows. Tips of fls like silique but flatter and bluntly v shallowly 2-lobed. Not found to be "monosperma ex du base". Too much like ill Bor - perhaps obscured at tips (See 2-25-30) 2-13-30 Euphorbia Backroad to Palma. Some general resemblance to ?? E. platyphylla of 2-14-30 except that gland on out-side is flat with an oblong projection at each corner. [not a true crescent, no flk seen (2-25-30)]
