look of Spiranthes at home. Sepals 3-3\frac{1}{2}mm long
upright adhering in hood to each other the
2 rear narrow petals. Lip 2\frac{1}{2}-3mm, deeply div-
ided into 3 lobes; the 2 lateral linear, wide spread-
ing; the middle lobe wider v broadening slight-
ly at apex which is dentate with 3 shallow but
definite teeth, the lateral one blunt & divergent
the middle one narrow. Obtuse spur (trace)
at base of lip 1mm (measured from behind?)
Fl greenish white (no trace of pink). Claws
somewhat twisted, the acute pale slightly
pinkish) bract about \frac{1}{2} as long. Intine formation
very diff to see in present state of flo but pollen
seeds seem to have very slender canalicles, not
easily detected, the granular pollen is out of
anther cells. Can't see whether there is one or 2
glands or 1 or 2 pores. (See 4-10-30; 4-20-30

v remains of old fz. To side &'d immed after lunch
v in some distance, just coming into fl, the tips
of calyx conspicuous on many buds. Bract un-
der flower long middle lobe v blunt lateral ones.
