3-30-30 Allium roseum L. KnT 372, Bor 439 Bor 299 FL Highway west of Cas Catala (west of 8 km stone) Pedicelled bulblets at base very evi- dent. Per. segtzy with darker line down middle. Leaves to 14 ins. Strong onion odor. Center of bulb solid. (See 4-10-30 3-21-30 Droserum Delechampii F.W.Schmidt KnT. 576 = &. — Deep. Bor. 281, Bor. 18' FL Highway just west of Branch to Catala. FL (face & pedicels. 3-14-30) Several sts from top. Of black underground st, v these essentially simple to 16 in high the peduncle forming the upper half. At base each peduncle a whorl of 3 lvs, strong cordate clasping 2½ x 1 in lobed at lvs except unlobed usually, a 4th if shorter v much narrower. Fl heads 1¾ in digh broad, rays a very pale yellow, some pointers are purple. Papaws downy. 3-30-30 Vicia sativa L. (See ) FL young fr. At 8 km stone west of Cas Catala, evidently a cult. crop.
