Pl looks like annulI 3-4½ in high. two lips. val 9x6 mm., palate very, coursely 5 toothed, the floral ones (bracts Baz) set to about middle. Abot the first 2 distant pairs the st. is naked for a distance longer than internode. before lowest fl. no. Calyx 8mm (lobes 2mm.) tubular, whitish with 4 green veins ending in the 4 green lobes which are lanceolate and edges revolute. Corolla projects 3 mm beyond calyx, the upper lip purple, a hood, pubescent on back, the lower lip spreading about 1¼ mm. longer than upper, with 3 entire lobes) whilst the middle one is narrower - whitish but purple around edge. At base of middle lobe 3 distinct oval, roundel, yellow jaws tubercles x This would seem to point to Texago apaula Eller Baz 847 but loaves not lance lineas, Capsule not ovoid globulosa, put- cescet) Stamens, hidden in box antlers slightly wooly & apiculate base. Style pubescent. Stigma slightly globular relatively large. Capsule oblong, posited slightly curved, smooth, jords. cndt long as calyx. Seeds many. (See Texago apaula 4-4-36)
