March 11-1924 Shrred Panome Lansome telephoned at Abstract Journal. After talking from three of 2 hours we called on Dean Butler and presented a tentative plan to get to work if President Brown can raise the money. It was then agreed to call on Marvin which we did at 3:15 P.M. The plan is to appoint an organizing Committee to see what should and can be done. Marvin is very enthusiastic over the plans and is willing to raise at least $10,000 per year to carry the plan along. The object in doing this is to make Univ. of Arizona stand out as a place of high ideas, at the same time to build up a very strong girls department out of a dual girls library. We appoint a Com. on Plan with Lansom, Butler, Schockert and Ranome (Chairman)
