a tundra. Mr. Broujet says he often
encounters frogs ground in digging holes
for telegraph posts. These holes are just
hiding grounds for ducks and we found
of several brooding another. Of one flock
if two or more are seen 7 and presents

In our walk today we again encountered
coyote dead on the shore but not so many
as yesterday. All along this shore as well
as at the Jupiter River every now and then
of hits a seal head. They are quite
common all along the coast.
This morning Daddy had me go past the
Jupiter River camp when I saw a big bear
crawling down the upper thirty hills. A
second bear was seen near the jump pass.
Here about the Salt Lakes bears are so
common that the Broujets are always
