English Bay Sunday June 28. Had no chills nor fever today. Very weak but began to get an appetite, and eat a good dinner at Malouin's and a hearty supper at Rouges. Did not set off until 10 A.M. and after that all went better. Walked towards English Head and later with Rouges to Lake Plancan to gather some of the first water shells smaltling the bottom. This is a meal with the top layer one mass of shells, of Physa in the main. Also got a number of yellow orchids Cypripedium. The finest day and the warmest on Anticosti. Not too warm for me.
