13 August Headle River Coal Mine (57°25'W, 70°27'N), Alan
whice was nice though not spectacular.
14 August Today the wind almost stopped. I decided to
celbrate by hiking, and taking the last few
photos of the year - I went south along the
Headle River to South ridge, followed it
until I hit the Headle again, along the
Headle to the 0° bow dunes, and cross-culty,
to camp, about 10 miles in all, and hiked
from 9 am to 5.30 pm. Whoo! As usual
there was wills along the river - a wagtail

camp pool acree on the ridge. No jessicus,
