Barrow, Alaska 2 July Walked 25-ft out side each line, taking all birds in a 100 ft wide strip, the length of the transect; then from end post of one line to end post of 2nd four-6 feet out, taking strip 100 ft wide. TRAP LINE - IV 10:45 to 11:07 AM - no birds- Red Phalaropes seen in Holmes Morass outside transect and 18 landed in transect after I pass. Direction Post 0.0 to Post 10.0.
