"[illegible] the whole Cromata, The next & that may be called The Cladoconus beds [illegible] at or one foot of a grey trigell with then reddue lemon tone the actual home of Athyris vittata. My few of the species seem to fixed a definite horizon but in a general way the greater abundance is as above indicated, see my small Collection of proofs. Called on Professor Kearny the local school teacher who I shot in any former visit here. Also called on Mr. Fuller the farmer here.
