The locality studied to day on the mountain side is locally known as Blue Mountain and is about 5 miles south of Collingwood, Brains Mill is in the same road and is about 2 1/2 miles south of Collingwood. (7) or rather "Hudson Rim" The Richmond (Whittaker) says is 390 foot thick and with the green and red shales above not measured. In a non L area are made out on the road at least 400 feet from where Richmond joins down up to the Clinton = Chipp design. About 200 feet are in the upper Richmondlican green and red beds. The green shales have fossils in thin limestone bands. (Blue shale Richmond (Whittaker) = 390 foot Red-green " " (Williams) = 128 " certainly thicker than this = 518 ")
