(1) This zone if about 3 far of limestone is decided an argillaceous limestone tending on the the glaucites like magnesian and dolomitic. There they lay around in St. J. P. P. but in the magnesian layers it is hard to trace out the forms. Fragments of Lingulae are common done but draw no good ones. (2) This difference dates included was not one of dip but more probability is due to an irregular erosion surface. To all intents the beds of the entire section are horizontal.
