Oct 29. Wednesday. Atoka, A dark rainy morning. We are to start for Muskogee at 8.30 if the train is on time. As it rained much during the night it is probable that the train will be late. Trains usually late here in Oklahoma. The train was 3 hours late and we got to Musc- soc at 1.45 P.M. It remained a dark day and misting some at times. Oct 29 Thu. Thursday. Muskogee. We concluded to get by trolley and train To nearby station to see the highest Tennesseean and try (west Pennsylvania station). It is a very dark morning but the weather man does not say anything about rain. It got warmer during the night and this makes us fearful of rain. We are off by trolly at 6.40 for Fort Sillam. At the latter place we learn that therefore concluded to go to the Kersh Quarries 2 miles north east of Ft Sillam. At the 'Berd dry store' there is a fire cautiously about
