In the limestone we got a small fauna, the common
form being Camphyllem trigonium. In the
shales beneath we got a much more varied fauna
and this has me so far seen in the Antnebles.
Certain magnolias seem rare.
We then collected in a limestone quarry in the
suburbs of Andover, but got almost nothing.
McCoy, Linds and Benton were home for
a few days. Will turn up at Andover on Thursday.
At 8 P.M., I shipped 4 small boxes weighing 143
pounds to New Haven. Had to prepare #9.53/100.
