In general the starts lie horizontal but is localized places
there are small flexures indicating faulting. The dip appears
to be steeper to the north and north west.
Fort Scott is just over the Kansas line. It is 7 P.M.
and they look of day light. We will be Parsons at
8:30, and here I change cars for Bartlesville, Okla.
At Parsons where I am to change cars the next
train is two hours late. I therefore conclude to stay here
tonight.
It's lightning and gusting wind ruin during the night.

A dark cool and windy morning. All trains are
late. Instead of starting over the train lie at the station
and we do not go until 30 minutes late or 8:40.
Many oil wells about Cofferville, Kans., than the
National Oil Refining Co. got to Bartlesville at 11
A.M. and both McCoy and Greer were at the
depot to meet me. Tom Jones joined in the
same morning dance that drew in last Spring.
