19-20 ft. thick, ckd. Found four entire specimens of Trilobite, three shells are quite foundant but you get only the hinge of the valve with the elongation. Brizoan were quite abundant in certain layers. Brachiopods as a rule are poor and few. Took supper at the home land then enjoyed the home theatre. June 6. Spent the forenoon at Stolz's quarry but found very little, excepting one good crinoid. Then went to Schwartzbaugh quarry and found this to be very good ground for fathus fossils. The blue shale has been thrown around and has weathered out nicely. Got two good crinoids and portion of a [car trobarn wit] Schwarztayl quarry now This affilites w/o
