To the S of the house I made a tra- verse as follows; At road Corlin enyl. Then W. for 290 yards all in Highgate to study facing cliff, fence and low land beyond without exposures, in this distance there is an arch; for 230 yards from E. the dip appears true around 10°, then it turns and dips NW and at 290 yards orat if road dips around 60° W. At about 110 yards from road here in layer thin- kerm for 40-50' across. The casting dip if about 10° seems about 20° cast of Highgate road to E. of house at corner of road to Donaldsons farm W.
