Wea. MON. OCT. 18, 1909 Ther.
Mr Smith of The Manor at Highgate
sent a car forme and at 9.15 we leave St.
Altans. At our 9.30 I am at the Donaldson
road and I leave the car to spend the day be-
tween here and Highgate.
When the Corlin enyl. crosses the road from
Highgate
to N. a house. To the S of the house I made a tra-
verse as follows;
At road Corlin enyl.
Then W. for 290 yards all in Highgate to study
facing cliff, fence and low land beyond without exposures,
in this distance there is an arch; for 230 yards from
E. the dip appears true around 10°, then it turns
and dips NW and at 290 yards orat if road dips
around 60° W.
At about 110 yards from road here in layer thin-
kerm for 40-50' across.
The casting dip if about 10° seems about 20°
cast of Highgate road to E. of house at corner of
road to Donaldsons farm W.
At northern house 70 yards from road here is
a second exposure of Corlin enyl. 11 yards across.
