Monday August 28-1933. Wea. SUN. SEPT. 12, 1909 Ther. One then turned around and cutred south about 3/4 miles to the place where Howell found fossils of ??p. age. It is directly south of a house marked on my field maps. It's on the western side of other Keith and I have been calling Mal- lett. Going up to here to the north of the farmhouse are have a good view of the country to the west that has the Drinroodi-Mallett and in the valley to east is part of the Parkin. Here I made the following sketch to show the relations of the formations. Then motored S.W., to Inwentm and had lunch at the Park Hotel. Then motored to the park ferry road one mile N. of Inwentm Junction. First one cross over of the Central road to see the best exposed contact between the Mallett and Parker. I saw it last year on Aug. 19-1932 but made little of it other than the contacts (see ante page). The Mallett is eroded with undulations as much as 10' deep. To north the unevenness greater and the Parker shale goes down the knee. Then
