Wea. THUR. JAN. 21, 1909 Ther. ridge of the thick bedded reef li. It lies above the knotty series, and may have a thickness of 100 feet. Otherwise noted are that I saw a bad layer quite broad. In the stream bed saw the whole of the knotty li. series. It begins near the lenticular beds and goes to the thick bedded orific limestone that makes the prominent ridge. Aug 17-1924 Sunday Went out to Pointe St Enfan and tangled again with succession. Now the quarry has torn down much of it but one sees better the succession. It is much faulted and altered. Especially on the western limit. The eastern cliff is more reliable for thickness but it too is not altogether reliable; in the reef pocket off the hood I made some
