Wea. Mon. July 26, 1909 Ther.
Off on the 9.30 A.M. train to the place of yester-
day. At the end of the railway the land to east is low and
may have the Cheltenham grit, but how many fathoms or not less
than 1/3 mile down Hurst dl. beside the rail, and to the NW 1/2mile
are high hills that may have the Mallett dl.
At Whichs loc. 3 is the arch noted last July, therefore
all the dol. and at to the east are repeated to W. and the latter
one at least to be main highway. Keith J. this gives the
freedom of the Milton as 700' but then and may reduce it

All the same kind of dol. up to the second house on
south side of road at apex of highway about turn S.
2 days no trace of rims.

saw no exposures to E. But all is the dol. traversed in going
up E on the road above mentioned, in the lower land should be Highgate
slate. At the base of the road and just S. of the car gong
road has some Hurst dl. and to the W. but to E. in Charn-
plain Hill.
On the E going road a little way house on N. side of
highway there are exposures of Highgate slate. This opposite
Whichs loc. 4 and/or then forms entrance of the slip gate
and not the Milton. Saw more Highgate on the banks of
