Wea. FRI. JAN. 15, 1909 Ther. Quebec, into Vermont. Folding and thrusting must have taken place in L.C., (Up.C.,?) all Beekmantown shore. Certain there was folding in Vermont at the close of the Driftian. The fact that the Acadian temp. has Beekmantown but no other Ordovician shns, this pushing from the left was going on elevating the eastern temp. while the St. Lawrence temp. had water intermitting. Paid my bill at the Chateau and at mid- night I start for Matapedia via in Lesis.
