Saturday August 20-1932 Wea. FRI. JUNE 18, 1909 Ther. A fair cool day but too rheumatic to walk much. Remained at hotel, walked a little, arrived on C.M.S. and wrote letters to Phet and Layneele. Sunday, August 21-1932 Another fine birthday a little warmer than Saturday. Remained around hotel all the morning and read the G.Y. Herald-Tribune. At 1:30 P.M. took off in the bus for the north end and near at Pelorus Bay. After getting just north of the houses in the eastern above the Central and Western sections saw an area my much like to me this time days ago & Temple The Portuguese. Here we saw the following: mac bed, 10-15' shores about 20' The excavation Gleeman's 20s, E. Beetham's another bed 10-20' thick of some sort. Further north is a band from mom 15' or so thick.
