Monday July 18, 1932 Wea. MON. APRIL 19, 1909 Ther. At the Falls of Apoll River one half mile north of Canada on Sunday, the river falls over the Benpin (much cleaned and bent) upon the Highgate Is. The latter is here also freed [slightly] before the Benpin over definitely over it. In section the place is as follows Benpin This is a genuine angular monorimit and is or de- scribed by drop at all it- Ells. Rim land Highgate ls about 6' thick. Then motored east about 2 miles in Canada to get a better and south to Highgate Falls. Thence south to Corlins ledge. It is about 1500' by N.-S. and at the south end next to the Highgate slate saw or the south and one lastel of near 25' long. Otherwise the ls expl. looks tire any other Devonian expl. All is once a len schistac. Thicknes may exceed 40', we can't tell because we can no clear reading.
