If Helderbygan is present it must lie more eastward than the Christian. Dresenya Brook. Friday, May 29-1914. Drove from Middleton this morning to Dres- senya Brook which is east of Phinney Brook. Still are east of Tor Brook Mines, and the latter is about 2 miles west of Messenya Brook. Tor Brook Mines is two miles east of Tor Brook Mine we saw the iron mines yesterday. Messenya Brook is a small brook flowing north down the hill of Paleozoic strata facing northeastward and the Triassic valley. The southern margin of this open valley is made by North Mountain of Triassic sandstone and trap. At the extreme southern margin of the Triassic one soon comes in Messenya Brook upon vertical standing slate, and then a thick [illegible] of slate limestone more whole than limestone. There
