Arisaig May 24 Sunday.
This morning to my surprise young Mr.
MacDonald was ready to take me to
Antigonish. Got loaded up and was off
at 8.30 A.M. Got to Antigonish at 11.15 A.M.
Mac Lean made out my expense
for the entire trip at 61 dollars which I
paid by the Canadian Government. This
course does not include meals and hotel
en route. I am allowed 33 dollars to get back
to New Haven, The transportation charges
of to Antigonish is $23.80 including my
Pullman fare.
Therefore Mac Lean will owe me in
the fare when he gets back the $33. I laid
out on the way back.
