Code 1959 General Account 29 July - cot - 2045 - made camp on the left limit on a terrace about 1 mile upriver from Sentinel Hill - near an area of numerous ice wedges along the cut bank of the river. Camp #4. 30 July Colville - near Sentinel Hill - spent the day investigating the tundra between the Colville and Kogosekrovak rivers. Beautiful, rolling upland type tundra similar to that around the Mlade River coalmine. 31 July Sentinel Hill to Ocean Point - 1220 - departed #4 - clearing skies for the first time since we left Uniat. 1400 - at the mouth of the Kogosekrovak 2000 - made camp on shore across from mouth of the Nikiaikrovak River. Skies were mostly clear all day. 1 August Nikiaikrovak to Ocean Point - 1200 - departed camp #5 2100 - camped on a silt bar on the right limit a few miles above Ocean Point. 2 August Nikiaikrovak to Ocean Point - 1330 - departed camp #6 - overcast sky with strong SW wind blowing.
