T. Code 1959 General Account 6 July Cohille above Aurora Camp #2 log bluffs on the right limit by roughleg nest. 7 July - Checked roughleg near camp. Rain all day long, making travel difficult. 2035 - departed camp #2 after the rain stopped. Checked hawks on second of crescents. 8 July 0035 - stopped on the left limit across the river from a peregrine avie and about 1 mi. above the 1952 gyp falcon c Cliff. Roughleg also present. Continued working second crescent bluffs 2230 - stopped to make camp #3 on left limit across from a peregrine avie about 1 mi. above the 1952 gyp falcon cliff. 9 July - Spent the day at the gyp cliff where we found a pair nesting with 2 nearly fledged young. 10 July Again spent most of the day at gyp avie. Raining off and on all day. 11 July - checked the peregrine avie in the morning. 1450 - departed camp #3. - still overcast, with light wind. 1825 - just the mouth of Aurora River. 2130 - Bob Main flew in with an out- board motor and fuel for us. We made arrangements for him to leave 15 gals more
