29 June Unniat - took up traps on T 4, 6, 9.
30 June Unniat - set out traps on T 5 in
the morning. It rained heavily
for a brief period in the afternoon.
Revan and went traps in the evening.
1 July Unniat - Ran trap line and took down
a description of T 4. It rained again
in the afternoon.
2 July Unniat - Nelson finally arrived at
1000. In the afternoon we took the
wheeled over to Unniat Mt and checked
on the vreagh legs and peregrines nesting
there. Ran the trap line in the
evening out. Light rain briefly
in the afternoon.
3 July Unniat - We visited the shrike nest
at base of Red Hill to make movies, but
unfortunately there was only one young
still in the nest. The others had clipped
into the dense alder stand surrounding the
nest. Nipow did get some movies of the
adults hovering over it and pecked
near the nest.
4 July Unniat - Rain most of the day - waiting
for plane to take us up rivers.
5 July Unniat - took up Colville R.
1330 - we left with Bob Main on float.
