General Account 22 June Uniat - look up traps on T1, 3, and 7 in the morning. Helped Carson with his lake work in the early afternoon, wrote notes until dinner time. Yesterday was another all clear day. Today the sun has been shining steadily but there is a development of cumulus clouds and there are sheets over the Brooks Range, and these clouds seem to be moving closer to this area. In the evening Mike Daniels helped me set out traps on T10. It was completely overcast by then and started raining just as we finished. This prevented us from putting out traps on the other transects. The rain continued off and on all night - some- times rather hard. Arctic oryzaea is in full bloom on the slope of T10 - so also lupine. 23 June Uniat - partially clear in the morning. Mike and I set out traps on T2 and T8, ran traps on T10. Rain again in the evening. Rain again in late evening and early morning.
