Code 1959 General Account June cant just below the large boulderstheup fan that result from outwash of the Creek that drains the glacier above Cham berlain Glacier (B) Big Meadow - on both sides of the Carnivore immediately above the Echo that almost closes off the valley (Carnivore cuts three a narrow steep shoot at the west end). 1530 - returning down Carnivore on the west side, 1810 - back in camp, showing carved the lake ice from mouth of Carnivore drifts to the far back of camp. Total disland traveled about 8 miles. - No willow yet with green leaves. Bobbie says the snow and ice conditions are about 2 weeks later than last year. This seems to be in general agreement with Beaver conditions, June Peters-Schroder Lakes - Clear skies all day - some north wind blowing. Remained in camp all morning. 1345 - went out south along eastside of Peters around the end and out into the "flood plain" of Carnivore Creek, then on
