then proceed eastward of the Kreal.
In order to get down into Schrader
Lake as soon as possible, as we
were scheduled to rendezvous with
the Barn Traveler at 1800-1830. We
had to traverse several long snow
fields at the head of the drainage,
but we got down onto the north wet
end of Schrader at 1830. No bombardier
waiting. Fortunately it was late in
coming and melted out on the lake
about 30 minutes later. We were
back in camp at 1945. This trip
took us into the foothills province-
out of the influence of the high mountains.
Peters-Schrader Lake- stayed around
camp all day, viewing a snow shell,
unwitting note, and tending to specimens.
Checked the shrubbers across the lake in
the morning, and then back of camp
in the evening. Another all clear day.
Walked north along the east side of Peters
in the late afternoon - went to the mouth
of Carnivore Creek and return to camp.
Out 2 hours. Another day of all clear-
weather.
