1. Cade 1959 General Account 2 June - out - From the shrike rest I proceeded north along the west side of the lake looking over the willow stands on the fans, until I came to the upper of three saddles in the ridge which allow passage into the Whistler Cr. valley. 1315 - reached the summit of the pop and started down on the Whistler Creek side. Stopped for a brief snack just beyond the pass, then continued down into valley. 1410 - arrived in the creek bottom. Creek flowing but ice still clinging to the banks all along the way. Proceeded upstream to check on willow stands. Walked to the last outwider of the tree-high willows ca 1 mile above my point of descent into the valley. 1545 - reached the end of the willows and started back downstream. 1730 - arrived back at the point of my descent into Whistler valley. Continued on downstream at 1800, after eating. 2030 - arrived out in the flats between Peters and Schroeder, and cut across a low snowline to walk back up the
