1. Cade 1959 General Account 28 May court.- view and back along same route to the tent. Makes came in saying he had spotted some exotic duck up stream, and we went off after it with the shotgun. We did not find the pair again but from his drawing of the drake we were able to identify it later as Anas formosae. We continued up the left limit of the view about a mile, and then turned and followed a large creek inland for about another mile; then back to camp via the same route arriving at 0130 on 29th. 9 May Pitmeleya - Cafe Tompsoon - Plotzglobe - Moutak River - to Barrow. Bobby Fischer came in at 1030 landing in a strong cross wind of about 30 mph - causing him some difficulty. He did not want to take off with a heavy load, so we cached a lot of the equipment: Kalamarazo, tent, gas churn, Coleman stove and lamp, such of traps, and other odds and ends. 1146 we took off and flew up the cost to Zig A (Cafe Beyford) to gun up for a long recon flight. 1200 - landed at Zig A. Watched
