Snow now mostly gone off the tundra and the rem off is very rapid, there being little chance for the accumulation of melt water lag at Barrow because of the sloping topography. 26 May Pitmegea River - Skies clearing during the morning - mostly clear during the afternoon - still, however, with considerable wind from the southern sector. 1500 - crossed the river again, and I walked upriver to the geyseric cliff again while Maher walked to the logrun and along the coast.
