1. Code 1959 General Account 22 May Cont. - rain between 1200 and 1400. Wind mostly from the south. 23 May Rain trapline in the evening, and shrewed in the late evening. 23 May Pitmegea River - 1100 - went out to trap line. Sky overcast with intermittent rain. Last of the snow is melting off rapidly. Returned to camp at 1210. 1240 - crossed the river and walked about 2 miles upstream to the gypsoleon cliff. Back along the foot of the bald ridge with the slate snow bank. Returned to camp at 1710. 1945 - went to trap line. Sky still overcast and intermittent light rain falling. Afterwards walked along the ridge above camp and returned at 2130. Raining heavier. Wrote notes the rest of the evening. Heavy downpour of rain began at 2230 24 May Pitmegea River - Heavy rain off and on all night with very strong south west wind. Wind continued
