General Account.
21 May
cast
blowing since early morning. We weighed about 5-10 miles.
In the afternoon we put the Ralamazgo boat together and
averaged the river at 1600. We
walked to the first ridge north
of the river, the cut back to-
where the river to the long ridge
that flanks the left right limit
of the river ca 1/4 mi above camp.
Walked the full length of it and
then back to our landing a couple
100 yds below camp. Worned
river and returned to camp at
1930. Mostly overcast the entire
time, wind shifting to west to north.
22 May
Pitmegea River - 1100 - went out
to study area and set traps up
the transect on the ridge which
overlaps the chirus plot. Also
set some traps along the edge of
the snow line in the creek which
flows through the study area. Creek
still frozen over. Returned to
camp at 1330. Spent rest of
afternoon writing up field notes.
