Cade 1959 General Account 20 May While waiting for Bobby to return with the rest of our supplies from Liz 2, we went up on the ground clear camp and walked around in the vicinity of Child's study area. Sky perfectly clear with no wind when we arrived and continued to all evening. Bobby had to make 2 shuttles, the last one around 2100. Finally got camp set up and dinner finished around 2200. 21 May Pitmelega River - 1600 - Bill and I walked out to Child's study area to examine ground conditions and look at tree sets. We walked south to the first main ridge in the area, along the length of it and back, then coastward until we came out over the sea, back along the coast to the prominent ridge southwest of camp and followed along it back to camp.
