T. Cade 1959 General Account 16 May - cont. 2 miles to the sand dune area and the fat dews. 1410 - back to the trail and continued on up views for about a mile, 1420 - back to trail and returned to Barrow. 1700 - back in Barrow. Total travel ca. 75 miles. Weather continued overcast the whole time. 17 May Barrow - in and around camp all day - counted the museum specially, separated non-functional from functional ones, 18-19 May - Barrow - waiting for plane for trip to Pitmegea River. In the lab both days. 20 May Barrow to Pitmegea River 1435 - left Barrow with Bill Maher in Cema 180 - skid-wheel combination, Bobby Fisher flying. We were accompanied by another ARL plane carrying Tim Meyers and some of our supplies. 1440 - off runway at Barrow 1445 - over Barrow Village, following the coast. After passing Walrusweight we flew inland from the coast on
