Cade 1968 Bereval Account 5 September - cont- 1503 - avetic loon on a lake 1509 - 15 caribou lying down on twelve. 1514 - 4 Caribou 1522 - landed on large lake ca 10 mi S. of the S. western end corner of Pearl Bay. 18 old aquavos on the lake - several gulls near. 1618 - off again toward Barrow 1621 - 3 Caribou 1623 - 4 Caribou 1625 - 5 Caribou 1440 - landed at Barrow. 6 September Barrow to Fairbanks. Picked up traps on remaining lies in the morning. Closed up the lab and departed via Wien for Fairbanks around 1400. Arrived Fairbanks ca 1700. Departed Fair- banks for Seattle at 2200. 7 September Seattle to Oakland We could not land at Seattle because of fog - or anywhere else on the coast side of the Cascades. Finally landed at Marina around 0800. Departed from there after Portland via Northwest around 1000. Arrived
