T. Code 1958 General Account 5 September, Barrow - Innaw River - Pearl Bay Made flight reconnaissance with Bobby Fischer and John O'Sullivan. Stinevery fallars. 1028 - departed Barrow towards mouth of river 1045 - over Gravv a few miles below Fish Camp. 1046 - 2 adult swans seen on the river 1051 - 2 " 1054 - just above 1967 "duck camp" - 1 red fox, 50 glaucous gulls, 1 arctic loon 1057 - 1 ?? snowy owl flying along river. 1059 - down on the river at the sanddunes below the duck camp - same dunes visited in spring 1957. 1407 - adult yellow-billed loon flew off the river and circled over as several swirls. 1311 - after eating lunch - off up river again. 1326 - arctic loon on the river 1327 - landed on the upper reach of the river by 30 ft. steep bank. 1434 - off again heading toward west side of Pearl Bay. 1500 - flock of 25-30 willow ptarmigan.
