General Account
September - cont-
1610 - 8 glaucous gulls - one of them
juvenile; 7 black-bellied plovers -
all on mud bar.
1615 - flock of 10 red-breasted mergansers.
1622 - 2 pretti locus at mouth of
Miliaktovik River.
1430 - 3 glaucous gulls - 2 of them
juveniles.
1437 - one adult long-tailed jaeger -
flew into an area where gulls
were preening. Adult gulls came over
making a lot of fuss. The jaeger flew
on down river.
1653 - 2 adult glaucous gulls - rain
squall hit us.
1700 - 3 adult glaucous gulls - blew in
rain now part.
1710 - 2 adult glaucous gulls
1735 - docked on beach below
ARL wanigan - flock of 25-30
redpolls on the bluff.
September Meade River - Ran traplines in morning
and evening and shinned. Between 1500
and 1800, I took a walk south along the
river ca 1 1/2 mi beyond village and back.
