General Account
12 August -
weather fair and warm. Might get down
to freezing for a little while now—for
about a week. Daytime temperatures
in the 70's— even to 80° one day. All in
all the most pleasant part of the summer.
3 August Okfjilak Lake -
Split the morning getting packed up
to go over to Jogo Lake, then took
up the traps on the two remaining
Lines. Ed Sable and Bill Kelly came
in around 12.30. We were expecting
Bobby Fischer to come in momentarily,
but he did not show. Spent the rest
of the day messing around camp
waiting for him. We took down one
of the tents, rolled up the fish net,
brewed trash and cleaned up around
camp some. Day generally shot. Weather
warm and clear agains.
August Okfjilak Lake - Another bright, clear
and warm day. No airplane. Spent
the day around camp waiting. During
the night Jerry Brown and Bill Malcom
came in from the Jogo to see if we
were still here.
5 August Okfjilak Lake - Heavy fog with some
rain overcasting all day long with
