General Account
23 July Colville River
Roughleg was present here but no nest. Departed at 1520. Stopped again for gene at 1600. Off again at 1615. Stopped for more gene at 1630 Off again at 1645. At 1655 we cruised around the 1952 gyp cliff (wolver's nest). Saw pair of roughleg but no nest present. On doron river at 1725, at 1930 we stopped at the double Knife blade ridge where roughleg and peregrines were nesting. Resumed travel at 2030. Stopped on right limit at the 36' gyp cliff at 2110. Resumed travel at 2120 and stopped again at 2125, Off again at 2230. Stopped to camp on left limit at 2240- opposite last of the series of little outcrops on right limit. Peregrines in this area. Ato gleimer and went to sleep under the tarp as thunder storms were passing around us. It rained off and on during the night but we kept dry under the tarp. Total travel time today = 240 minutes.
